The Department of Biology at the University ofColorado Colorado Springs will establish and maintain a pool of temporary Lecturers from which future appointments to non-tenure-track teachingpositions will be made. Temporary Lecturer appointments will be part-time (lessthan 50% time) and will be made semester-by-semester. Temporary Lecturerappointments are not eligible for group health and life insurance benefits orleave accrual, and pay rate is dependent on the number of courses taught.
Applicants for temporary Lecturer positions must have aMasters degree that qualifies them to teach lecture and/or lab courses offeredby the Biology Department (course list is here.). Applicants should address theirqualifications for teaching specific classes in a Teaching Statement.
